Johnny was born in Houston, TX on May 24, 1982, the youngest of three sons, to Conrad Roscoe Kressley, Jr. and Joyce Ann Kressley. He graduated from Channelview High School in 2003.
Johnny was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand and family and friends at his side. He never met a stranger that he didn’t call a friend. He could frequently be seen conversing with someone for hours just after meeting them. Not only did he have a heart for collecting friends, he was a gatherer of antiques and collectibles. His most treasured collectible was an early model Kodak Brownie camera. One of his greatest joys in life was to plant a seed and watch it grow. Often times, he could take a withering plant and restore it to full blossom.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Conrad Roscoe Kressley, Sr. and Betty Lavern Kressley, James Alexander Simmons and Ethel May Simmons. Johnny is survived by his beloved cat- “Spooky”; father and mother- Conrad Roscoe Kressley, Jr. and Joyce Ann Kressley; his eldest brother- Conrad Roscoe Kressley III and his daughters- Krystian Anastasia and Katelyne Joy Kressley; his older brother- Jeremiah James Kressley and wife- Bincy Kressley; and by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
