Jonathan Willis DeRise

Being an Air Force brat, Jonathan started his life in Madrid, Spain. From there he traveled the world from Turkey, to Japan, to Italy, and everywhere in-between.

Jonathan graduated from Aviano High School in Aviano Air Base, Italy and he pursued a degree as a Radiologist at the University of Houston and San Jacinto College, until he got sick with Crohn’s Disease. He was dedicated to Walmart and passionate to his customers where he worked for 9 years. He was an active participant in Comic-con as the “Joker” along with his sidekick Harley Quinn. He was so loved by his family and friends; and he had a smile that would brighten your day, no matter what your mood.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, Donnie and Bonnie DeRise; fiancée, Fawn Maddox; sister, Dawn; brother in-law, Tim; nephew, Hunter; niece, Lily; and numerous other family and friends.
