Jose Alvarez

Jose Alvarez, age 52, passed away May 21, 2025 surrounded by his family. Jose was the life of the party and always had the right tunes to liven up the mood. He loved being the DJ. He filled our hearts with joy and made us laugh like no other with his jokes (some of them Dad jokes) and goofiness. Jose loved practical jokes too. He was a hard working man that took pride in providing for his family. We are abundantly blessed with love because he loved so fiercely. Joe - We will miss you every second of every day. Our hearts are broken but we know that you were welcomed into Heaven holding Emily’s hand. Hug her tight for us please. We will make you both proud and persevere just how you wanted us to.

Jose is survived by his wife of 30 years, Erika Alvarez; children, Lilianna and Jose Alvarez Jr.; parents, Francisco and Hermila Alvarez; siblings, Adelina and husband David Manzo, Francisco and wife April Alvarez, Josefina and husband Salvador Rosas, Jesse and wife Viviana Alvarez, Amy and husband Ramon Garcia. He is also loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily.
