Joseph R. ""Joe Busby

Joe was a member of Victory Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher and was also a member of the American Legion Post #323 in Baytown.

Mr. Busby was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Gustafson and Mary Louise Pickney Gustafson.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mollie Mae Barnett Busby of Baytown; daughter, Debbie Weatherly and her husband Steve of Highlands; son, David Edward Busby of Baytown; grandchildren, Patti Bailey and her husband Joe of Baytown, Mandy Wheeler and her husband Adam of Pasadena and Kaitlin Busby of Baytown; great-grandchild, Gabby Bailey of Baytown and foster daughter Debby Askew and her husband Jimmy of Pensacola, Florida.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor David Cripps officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
