I have fond memories of Joey from our days at Highlands Elementary. He was always friendly and happy. Condolences to the family.

Joey has been a wonderful part of my life as far back as I can remember. When I would hear that Joey was going to be at a family gathering, I always knew everything was right in the world. He was a survivor; independent and self-reliant; curious about everything; hilarious and the life of the party; caring and generous; and had an appetite as big as his heart. The world's definitely a lonelier place now, knowing that Joey is gone. But the memory of him will live on in me for the rest of my life. He will be sorely missed.
My deepest condolences to the rest of the family.

Pat and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Joey’s family. Joey was like a brother to me. Joey was my best and dearest friend. He and I go way back to the fifties and we were alway together and talked most every day. Joey was compassionate, loving, kind, and he had a heart filled we love toward everyone he came in contact with ... You couldn’t help but love Joey. He was my fishing partner, my music partner, my football game buddy and he cared about my family so much, he was overjoyed when they were around him and cutting up with him. I love Joey with all my heart and I will miss him so very much. God, please wrap you arms around Joey and please welcome him into your kingdom with your Special Love. Amen. 🙏🏽
