Juan Avila, 53, of Baytown, Texas passed away on March 11, 2023. Juan was born on June 3, 1969 in McAllen, Texas to Arnulfo and Ninfa Avila. He grew up in Baytown and attended Robert E. Lee High School.
Those who knew Juan best would say, he was a Jack of all trades and the embodiment of a friend to all. He never met a stranger. Juan loved to BBQ, listening to Rock-n-Roll and was an avid believer in Bigfoot. He enjoyed watching all things supernatural and football, especially his favorite team the Houston Texans. Juan never started the day without a hot cup of coffee and thanking God for one more day.
Juan is preceded in death by his father, Arnulfo Avila, sister Manuela Lara and brother, David Avila. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolina Avila, children Tito Avila and wife Rachel, Joseph Gonzalez, John Avila and wife Alyssa, Cecilia Avila grandchildren Damian and Tatyana Avila, Aliyana, JJ, Anthony, Joel, Celina and Chloe Cano and Ariana Avila, mother Ninfa Avila; brothers; Armando Avila, Alonzo Avila and wife Paula, Fernando Avila and wife Yesenia, Danny Avila and wife Hopie; sisters Connie Mann, Elsa Pompa and husband Joe; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Avila, Joseph Gonzalez, Daniel Avila, Ernest Avila, Alonzo Avila, Fernando Avila, Danny Avila and Tito Avila. Honorary pallbearers are Mario Campos,Tonio Martinez, Paul Vargas, Chris Garcia, Joe Pompa, Orlando Balderrama, Tristan Hale and Santiago Navarrete.
