I had the pleasure of meeting Juan in the Lee Band.   I remember his huge smile ALWAYS, no matter how exhausted the whole band was after marching practice.  
Then we grew up and I hadn’t seen him in years.  Until a couple years ago, he became the “UPS guy” for the school I work at.  I had the pleasure of seeing him zoom his dolly in our school carrying all our school packages.  Always with a smile, ALWAYS said hello Toni, how’ve you been. 
I barely found out yesterday about losing him.  My heart is saddened.  I am grateful that the Lord allowed him to deliver to my school, giving me the opportunity to see him again before the Lord took him. 
My sincerest prayers and condolences go out to the family.  He is definitely an angel gained in heaven.

Juan, "The UPS guy" will always be remembered for his strong faith in Jesus Christ.  On his route Juan always took a moment to say hello and ask how I was doing.  He share  his faith and how he treasured the trip to the Holy Lands. Juan would say, when I read scripture I imagine where Jesus walked and the scripture is alive.  My heart hurts for each of you.

My deepest condolences to the entire family.  I highly respect Juan.  My conversations with him were always awesome.  He is one of three who I can speak with and knew he wouldn't judge.  He spoke with honesty and truly bias.   My latest memory of him........I texted him just recently to Keep Strong.  Even in the condition & pain he was facing, he still reached back to say, "Thanks and may God be with you and your family."    A new Angel is now looking over.  

I met Juan at ups on pre -load  in 1997 there wasnt a day that went by that he said good morning to me with  a smile .  as we became drivers we would spend countless ours talking in the parking lot talking about faith and most important family sometimes late until all the drivers had gone home and left the parking lot. I got in trouble but once i told my wife who i was talking to she was fine .  the talks and advice Juan gave i will always cherish.  Im going to miss you .  rest easy brother untill we meet again.

I worked with Juan at the UPS Center in Baytown. His Christ-like kindness, compassion and zeal inspired me in my faith. He always helped me with any issues I had and took time to respond whenever I reached out to him.

I met Juan in the late 90's at the Baytown UPS center. At the time all I knew about him was that he was was young, quiet, and willing to do whatever it took to be a proud UPS'r. I truly appreciated his efforts. As the years went by I realized he was much more than a fine UPS driver. He was a friend. He proudly introduced his fiance, Maria, to me. Maria was full of sweetness and innocence. She and Juan were perfect for eachother. Just like a couple of bubbly kids, they got married and off on a honeymoon to Hawaii. We shared all of their pictures. My wife and I still have the souvenir he and Maria gave us.
I have been retired for 11 years, but through all my assignments, Juan is a man I will never forget. His faith in God grew stronger as he matured, and I noticed. I was not saved and he knew it. From time to time this young man was minister to me. At the time I was blind, but Juan never stopped. I can recall numerous times Juan would say little things to me about "believing". "Believing is Seeing." You will not understand if you lack faith in God. A few years after I retired I accepted the Lord's word. It was not because of my own efforts. I truly believe I had angel-like beings watching over me prior to being saved. And yes, Juan was one of those angel-like beings. I give credit to Juan and several other UPS friends who never stopped trying to save a soul. My salvation belongs to others. 
I truly must say "Thankyou Juan". Thankyou for the seeds of eternal life that you planted in my heart. You have made a
forever difference in many other people's lives. We thank you for that.

We first met Juan at my brother’s and sister in law’s wedding shower.  He walked up to me and introduced himself. We talked for a good time before my husband joined in.  We talked about our families, how he once stayed at a hotel right across from the Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. He asked me what sport is played there since we live in Frisco. He talked about his love for Jesus Christ and shared his faith. He was a soft-spoken person with a kind heart. I will always remember him dancing with his little girl at my brother’s wedding.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

My son an I visited Juan in February when he was first hospitalized. Juan was even then sharing with the nurses his faith in The Lord. I am glad my son witnessed Juan’s kindness and selflessness, inspite of his circumstances. Gonna miss your smile buddy.

I met him 7 years ago at Church in a Confirmation retreat. We were praying for the teens in the retreat, when he notice I didn't have the prayers they all had.. I was new to the ministry. He shared his folder of prayers with me and when he was leaving he offered to leave it behind, for me to use. I gave it back a few days later. 
That was the first time we met... And the last time I saw him was a while ago when he was delivering something by my mom's house. He was very much in a hurry but gave us a wonderful greeting, my mom said to me "he must be a great man of God" she didn't know he was from the same Church we go to. I was amazed by my mom's impression that without knowing him she capture who he truly was in Christ. 💞

He would come into the office I worked for and ALWAYS have a smile. I would tell him to get a snack and water every time. Before walking out the door, he would say "God bless". I looked forward to it.  He also delivered my baby's car seat the day before she was born. He always remembered to ask about her. Very sweet and respectful man. Heaven has gained an angel. RIP

I remember him from high school...the great class of 1992!  His smile was a trademark.  He was a fine young man.  

Juan was such a special person.  Everyone in our office loved it when he came in, we had some great conversations.   Any conversation you had with him evolved around his faith, and he loved sharing it.  We will miss him coming by.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

His smile was always his light.my deepest sympathy to his family.The first time I meet this family and this  young man was in a dental office where I was employed he was maybe about 5yrs old and I got to know him as a UPS delivery man . Heaven is recieving sn angel.Rest in Peace.

When Juan and I first met we had something in common. Our faith and family. He was truly passionate about both. So before work or afterwards we would have short conversations about those subjects. He was truly a beautiful  person. Always with a smile on his face. Brother I will forever cherish our friendship.

Juan  was a great man of faith no matter what he was going through he would always encourage me with pray.   Every morning before we would leave to start our day we would always say a pray..  Juan you will truly be missed...  heaven gained a great angel.. Rest Easy Juan.

Juan was a great friend and co- worker. I had a great opportunity to work next to him and he would always call me to see if I needed any help before he when back to the center. Juan was a loving caring guy always putting God and his family first. We lost a great man but Heaven just received a wonderful Angel.

One of my best memories, out of many, is the weekend we went to Crystal Beach, out of the blue with one of Agustin old band mates. We all were a strange group that night and it was one hell of a night at the beach.  I will miss making memories like those.

Juan was a great friend, mentor, and co-worker he would always make time for you if you ever had anything to talk about. He invited me to his home and introduced me to his loving family and always made me feel welcomed, he is a dear friend and will be missed dearly.

I can’t express the man Juan was , loving caring and always putting God  and his family first . He will be missed and never forgotten. I know he’s up in Heaven guiding us all down the right path.
