Juanita Lorraine Cherry

Juanita Lorraine Cherry, 87, of Baytown was born in Orange County, IN on August 11, 1926 to Harley and Lora (Walls) Dalton and went to be with The Lord on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was a member of Sagemont Church in Houston and loved decorating and watching Home and Garden TV.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clay Cherry; and grandsons, James Warren Setley, Jr. and Dalton Robert Kendall. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carolyn Parrish and husband, Jake of Baytown; sons, Robert Kendall and fiancé Sherrii Woodward of Scottsdale, AZ and Jerry Kendall of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Kristina Jones, Dayna, Jason, Lisa, Anna, Jerry Lee, Jr., Tyler, Christian, Elijah, Shu Shu, Zahn, and Serai Kendall; great grandchildren, Nikolle Setley, Karli and Kaleb Jones and Reese Kendall; special friends, Carolyn Coffman and Nancy Dunning; and her dog Rudy, whom she loved very much.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520 with Rev. John Mark Benson officiating.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to Sagemont Church, 11300 S. Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX 77089.
