Julia Martinez Hunter

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, a member of The Guadalupana Society, and a member of The Legion of Mary.

She loved the Houston Rockets and the Houston Astros. She also loved spending time with her family and her great-grand nephews and nieces. She especially loved spending time with her beloved dog, Roxy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Conrado and Maria Modesta Martinez; sister, Angelita Garcia; and husband, Donald Hunter.

She is survived by an only brother, Pedro E. Martinez and sister-in-law Gloria Martinez, of Baytown; nieces, Julia Ann Garza, Martha Cannizzo, Joe and Denise Martinez, Mary and Rodney Santana, all of Baytown; several great-grand nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Garcia Jr., John Michael Garcia, Steffen Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Paul Anthony Gonzalez, Nicholas Gonzalez, Gino Santana, and Jesse Angelo Cannizzo.

A visitation for friends will be held Wednesday, May 28th from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 29th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX.

Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery, 14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX.
