She was born February 21, 1916 in Cove to her late parents, Genevra Jane and Joseph Freeman Maley.
Jay was a longtime active member of the Cove Church of Christ, a seamstress and gardener, and was known for her hospitality to family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larenzie ""Dee"" Aubrey Williams and a daughter, Janice Lynn St. Jean.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Joan Winslow and her husband Gerald Ray Winslow, Sr. and Sheila Elois Peck and her husband James; son-in-law, Robert St. Jean; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Cedar Crest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the funeral home.
