June Carolyn Mead Hill, 74, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2018. She was born on June 26, 1944 to William Miner Mead and Lottie Grace Mead in Camden, Arkansas. June loved spending time with her family. She has two children, Rebecca Grace Johnson and William Russell Fisher. Other than spending time with her family, one of her great passions was reading and if she wasn’t reading you could find her crocheting. June had a very strong faith and lived to serve the Lord. She loved Him and enjoyed spending time at her church, Trinity Assembly of God. June is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Buddy, James and Russell Mead; sisters, Frances Morrison and Hazel Stults; and nephew, William Stults. June is survived by her children, Rebecca Johnson and husband, Chuck, of Huffman,TX, William Fisher and wife, Becky, of Edna, TX; nine grandchildren, Richard (Anthony) DeLuna and wife, Brandy, Charles (Andy) Johnson, Robert (Robbie) DeLuna, Sasha Bennet and husband, Zachary, Amber (Nae) Johnson , Aaron Waldroup and wife, Stephany, Dan Chandler, Daniel (Danny) Young, and Alana Fisher; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Services have been entrusted to Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX. A time of visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2018, from 2-4 pm; funeral services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 10 am with Pastor Pat Holmes officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony DeLuna, Robert DeLuna, Andy Johnson, Zachary Bennett, Danny Young, and Chuck Johnson. Interment to follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown, TX.
