Dear Rodney, I just learned of Karens death when I started searching for her on Facebook.  After going through school with her our entire lives I knew to be a friendly and warm spirited kid destined for great things.  Hope you are coping well Rodney you were the only thing she talked about.  My sincere apologies.

I knew Karen for a short time but always have known her as a lady with a smile and a kind word.  She loved you all so much.  She has touched so many and will be deeply missed.  With love and sympathy for your loss of such a beautiful sprited lady, Debbie.

To the DeLoss Family - I first met Karen when I was with Girl Scouts and she was with Boy Scouts.  She was such a dedicated Scout Leader and it was a joy to see her in action.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Karen was one of the most thoughfull and considerate person I had ever met.  Regardless of her pain and suffering she always made me feel so special by being concerned of my welfare.  
Karen was only with us a short time but she made a big impact on our lives.  
Romans 9 speaks of being absent from pain but alive in the spirit and we know that Karen is alive in the spirit and will be watching over us from above.

Your loss is also so many others loss.  Karen touched my life several years ago when Tommy was fighting his cancer.  I remember at Maddie's dance a few weeks ago just how happy she was.  She said she had had the best day ever!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother.  I remember what a sweet lady she was.  When I was a teacher at Highland Elementary she was very active with the PTO and was such a big help to the students and teachers alike.  I know she will be greatly missed.

Karen was such a special person.  She always had a sweet smile even though she wasn't feeling well at all.  I enjoyed and will treasure the talks, Bunko and sorority time we had together.  I will keep Rodney, Luke and Justin, and their families in my thoughts and prayers.

It has been a while since I have seen you all, but I remember all those times we played Bunco and all the activities with the kids. You most likely do not know me, but, over many years, I observed what a wonderful person Karen (your wife and mother)was.  As a substitute teacher at the Highlands schools, I often taught her sons and I was so impressed with what an outstanding job she had done with her children. I grew up down 1st Street from ya'll and you were always so nice to me, although I was a year younger, u always were a great friend. My mom and dad thought the world of ya'lls family, and I'm not sure WHOSE mini-bike I crashed into ya'lls fence when I was about 10 years old.. your parents never told my parents that I dented up ya'lls fence. we all played together in that neighborhood, ya'll, the Johnson's across the street, us..both my sister Carolyn and I, riding our bikes and chasing bats at dusk.. those were the days.. We will miss your smiling happy face, but you will forever be a beautiful memory in our hearts! We started our friendship in Scouts many years ago and continued it after the boys got out of scouts. Wow it's been some very good times. Rest peacefully now with the Lord! We love you and will miss you!

Trying to find the right words to say is always hard.  I know that we will all miss you Aunt Karen.  I know that you are in Heaven now with Sara and Grandma Evans; and all three of you are smiling down on us.
