

Karen Evans DeLoss, 52, of Baytown was born December 3, 1956 in Bryan and passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at home. She was a 1975 graduate of Conroe High School and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Chapter Texas Laureate Mu and the Crosby Chapter #261 Order of the Eastern Star. She was very involved with the Boy Scouts while her sons were growing up and received a Distinguished Service Award for serving as a Boy Scout District Commissioner. She enjoyed cooking and scrap booking.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Evans and daughter, Sara Beth DeLoss and is survived by her husband, Rodney DeLoss of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Sgt. Lucas Wayne DeLoss, US Army and wife Rupinder of Fort Hood and Sgt. Justin DeLoss, US Air Force and wife, Anna of South Korea; father, Bobby Evans of North Zulch; brother, Danny Evans of Conroe; aunt, Judy Welch of Bryan; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Conroe Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Spradlin, Eric DeLoss, Cliff DeLoss, Ian Sobacek, Paul Busby, Russell Evans, Donald Gokey Sr. and Donald Gokey.
