She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Vilanta Cordell; sister, Dessa Clark; brother, Charles Cordell; husband, Horace Smith; son, Wayne Sager; granddaughter, Cecilia Reyes; and grandson, Douglas Clark. She is survived by eight children and their spouses, La Quita and Johnny Watson, Gail Pospisil, Doyle and Francis Shaw, Nickey Shaw, Cendy and Travis Stanley, Lessie and John Siegler, Jerry and Michelle Smith and Dalton and Shellie Smith; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Sager; and faithful and enduring friend, Betty Thomas. She was also known as ""Grannie Kay"" to numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Huffman Church, 25306 FM 2100 North, Huffman, TX 77336. Graveside service will be in DeKalb at Oak Groves Cemetery, on Sunday, November 9, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.
