Kenneth W. Harralson, 91, of Highlands went to be with his Lord and Savior October 6, 2017. He had been a resident of Highlands for 45 years and a member of the First Baptist Church. He began his career as an Optician with American Optical in Paris TX and retired from Bryan Opticians in Houston TX. He loved Golf and was a lifelong Mason and Shriner. He met his wife of 54 years, Edith M. Harralson in Paris, TX where several of his family members reside. He also loved family gatherings, dancing and playing dominos with friends at the local community center.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Edith M. Harralson and sister, Melba Walker.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Rebecca Reiss of Anahuac, TX; 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Cecil Reiss, Cynthia and Tommy Murrow, Shannon and Kari Reiss, Jonathan and Melody Reiss, Matthew and Caitie Reiss, Jayson Manrique and Romina Manrique; great-grandchildren, Chris Morton, Josh and Courtney Shepherd, Kelsea Edmonds, Sara Reiss, Wyatt Murrow, Makinzie Reiss, Shae Reiss, Adrian Reiss, and Madison Reiss; great-great- grandchildren, Kendall, Conner, Colton, Kennedy, Jaxon; nephew, Steve Bussell and wife Rhonda; nieces, Marion Lamb and husband Philip, Yvette Clifford and husband Phil, and Jan Bussell; as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown, TX.
