He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Jones, Jr. and son-in-law, Kevin ""Bull"" Ballard. He is survived by his wife, Helen Jones of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Frederick Leggett of Baytown and Barbara Ballard of Beach City; mother, Julia Jones of Vidor; brothers and sister-in-law, Alan and Sherri Jones of Houston and Richard Jones of Vidor; and grandchildren, Brittani and Kaleb Leggett and Austin and Bailey Ballard.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial with military honors follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Tandy Humphrey, Frederick Leggett, Robert Smith, Wayne Smith, and Don Humphrey.
