

Kenneth Earl Troxell, 77, of Baytown, was born October 11, 1939, and passed away at his home in Chambers County on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was a member of the Catholic faith and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Agribusiness. He had a keen interest in all things agricultural, chief among them farming, beekeeping, and shrimping. Kenneth was known for his big smile, unlimited patience, and interest in sharing his knowledge with children. He loved and supported all things Chambers County and its residents.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gainer Edward ""Slim"" and Avonia Troxell; brother, Gary ""Gabby"" Troxell; and children, Amy Troxell and Ken Troxell, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sue Troxell of Baytown and a huge extended family and a host of friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3515 Trinity Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77580 with Rev. Khanh Ho officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Winston Gardner, Charlie Flewellen, Derrel Wayne Blanscet, Lonnie B. Fisher, Bill Spear, and David Yepez.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
