Laddy Boots Fisher

Laddy “Boots” Fisher, 77, of Baytown, TX was born October 29, 1929 in Cedar Bayou and passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006, surrounded by his daughters. He grew up as a cattle rancher and was a lifetime member of Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church and attended Cedar Bayou High School. He retired January 1, 1990 from Ethyl Corporation and loved camping and fishing.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, December 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Mayo officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Henson, Morgan Henson, Ryan Erskins, Joey Fisher, Gary Fisher, and Darren Sjolander. Honorary pallbearers will be Ocee W. Fisher and Dalton Sjolander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyman and Eunice Fisher and grandchildren, Jonathan Kirkland and Kourtney Kirkland Caldwell and is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Harvey Sjolander and Kathy and Rod Erskins, all of Baytown and Rebecca Anderson and Tommie Hicks of Dayton; brother and sister-in-law, Wyman Henry and Allie Fisher of Houston; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew; former spouses, Betty Criddle, the mother of his 3 daughters, and Bea Montgomery, both of Baytown; and numerous cousins.
