Larami Lin Cathey was born on October 29th, 1973 in Irving, TX and passed on to her eternal life on September 3rd, 2019 In Baytown, TX.

Larami was born to the parents of Sandy and Larry Cathey. She was a 1992 graduate of Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, TX. Larami continued her education at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and was a very proud graduate of the class of 1996-WHOOP! Larami married the love of her life, Kyle Wingate of Nacogdoches, TX, also a graduate of Texas A&M in 1996. Larami and Kyle have 2 children, Kolton and Kailey Wingate.

Larami was a best friend to any and all she came in contact with and will always be remembered for helping others before herself. She had a smile and bright blue eyes that could light up a room. Larami had many titles… daughter, sister, wife, mom, aunt, cousin, friend and the list goes on. Of all her titles, she was most proud to be called Mom. Larami enjoyed going on cruises and was an avid dog lover, beach-goer, chicken whisperer, lover of all things Disney and you could almost always find her in the kitchen as she loved to cook. Larami may have been small in stature, but was one of the strongest people we knew battling multiple illnesses throughout her lifetime. Although her time here on earth was way too short, she is now in Heaven and healed from the many health issues she suffered from here on Earth. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Larami is preceded in death by grandparents Claudine and Wendell Cathey, grandparents Mary and Bobby Lloyd, Uncle Mike Lloyd and father-in-law Jay Wingate.

Larami is survived by husband Kyle Wingate, children Kolton and Kailey Wingate, mother Sandy Cathey, and father Larry (and wife Lisa) Cathey, sister Lindsay Cathey (and wife Kristina Swart) and their children Knox and Kohen Cathey, Uncle Pat (and Aunt Karen) Lloyd, Aunt Glenda Lloyd, Uncle Shannon Lloyd, Mother-in-law Elaine (and husband Tom) Hurst, Irene Ramirez and family, and a great many step-sisters, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Larami leaves behind a beautiful family. Please pray for them. As she struggled with her health, we all looked forward to better days. I had a mental list of things we could do.
Such a sweet caring person. I will never forget that when she found out I had wet carpet and a sick husband following Harvey, she had Kyle and a friend right over to take up the carpet. Precious family.
Love and prayers

Kyle, I was so saddened when I saw this on FB this morning. I don't know that I ever met Larami, but I know you and your family and I am hurting for you and them. As you know Rhonda has suffered for years with many diseases. God has seen fit to leave her here for now and I am very grateful. I cannot imagine life without her. But God is always right in what He does. I am praying for His comfort in ways we cannot even fathom. Just know that we are praying for yo and the girls.

I met Larami in the summer of 1977.
Larami being the same age as my daughter Angie they quickly became friends. I loved Larami as if she was my child. I am so devastated by her death but, I know she is pain free & was met at the gates of heaven by Jesus, CC & Wendall her beloved grandparents.
2 Corinthians 5:8
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”
Larami, we love you & will forever miss you. Until we meet again big girl. ♥️
