Lela Jane Malone

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful baby girl Lela Jane Malone who slipped into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. She was born on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Houston, Texas, to parents Brandy Grimes and Christopher Malone. Although her life was brief, she touched so many lives with her beautiful eyes and warm cuddles.

Lela was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents Dennis Malone and Judith Hollin, Jeffrey Wagner and Betty Wagner; her maternal great-grandparents Betty Jane McWilliams and Jack McWilliams; and her cousin Briana Faye Grimes. She leaves behind her loving legacy her parents; her brother Luke John Malone; her paternal grandmother Carol Wagner and spouse Jeff Carlucci; her maternal grandparents Tammy and Steve Grimes; her aunts and uncles Ashely Malone, Page Dobrenich, Emily Dobrenich, Brayden Valle, Megan Malone, Jenna Malon, Shane Grimes, Selby Grimes and wife Megan, Stephanie Grimes and husband Matthew; her bonus uncle and aunt Cody Grimes and wife Jessica and Josh Grimes and wife Deb; her numerous cousins; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
