He was born in Enid, OK, to parents Marvin and Lela Mae Newman on December 16, 1942.
Leroy worked at Bayer Corporation for over 40 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and provider of foster care for small dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Jody; son, Brian and fiancée Tamra Saam; son, Robert and wife Christy; stepchildren, Leah Horne and Aaron Horne; grandson, Michael Newman and wife Brittany; grandson, Robert Newman, Jr.; brothers, Ronald Newman and Mervyn Newman; sister, Laverna Holcomb; and many internet friends and gamers.
