Lester A. Gallatin

Lester A. Gallatin, 80, of Baytown, TX passed away September 18, 2020. He was born in Houston, TX on April 2, 1940 to Lester and Molly Gallatin.

Lester had a career in Off Shore/International Compressor Sales working for Airdyne. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. Lester had a passion for animals, gardening, teaching kindergarten Sunday school for over 50 years, and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Gallatin and Molly Wiseman Gallatin.

Lester is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeanette Marek Gallatin; daughters, Stephanie Korenek (David), Teri Gallatin Roche; grandchildren, Rachel and Kyle Roche; sister, Sharon Marcy Phillips; and brother, Gordon Gallatin.

He was a wonderful Christian father.

The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday September 26, 2020, at Second Baptist Church, 6227 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

I’m so sorry for your loss.I have known Lester since we were teenagers.We went to church together and then school and in later years he supplied me and a lot of my friends with pecans and walnuts .We will miss him .💙🙏
