Lewis B. Irons

Lewis B. Irons, 92, of Baytown, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 in Baytown. He was born December 14, 1919 in Cleveland, Texas to his late parents, Ira Irons and Ola Richardson Irons and had lived in Baytown most of his life.

He was a member of Wooster Baptist Church, Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192 AF&AM and was a retired supervisor from Exxon after 32 years of service. His passion to travel led him to join several RV clubs and he was an avid domino player.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Irons of Baytown; son, David Irons and his wife Brenda of Crosby; daughter, Gail McCracken and her husband Mike of Friendswood; grandchildren, Kyle McCracken, Trenton McCracken and his wife Colleen and Clifton McCracken and a great-granddaughter, Sophia McCracken.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the funeral home with Dr. Mack Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
