Lillian Hebert Meineke, passed away on April 9, 2017. She was born on August 1, 1924 in New Iberia, LA and lived in Highlands, TX for 40 years or more. She then moved to Liberty with her daughter Jean and son-in-law Alan. She loved her family with all her heart and loved everyone she knew. She was the best Cajun food cook in the world and she loved feeding people and fishing.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Meineke, Sr.; son, Charles James Meineke; and daughter, Connie Meineke.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Meineke, Jr.; daughters, Jean Meineke Wunsch and Bonnie Sellers; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
For those who met and knew Lillian have truly been blessed.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 am with a visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery, 14659 East Fwy., Houston, TX 77015.
