

Lillie was raised in Baytown, was a longtime resident of Pasadena, retired from the City of Pasadena as the Public Library Secretary and was a member of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Baytown.
Mrs. Nixon was a member of the Singing Nixon's, who traveled the Southern and Southeastern United States for many events and she was a contestant in the 2005 Miss Pasadena Senior Pageant, winning Miss Congeniality.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby J. Nixon; sister, Helen Adams; nephew, J. C. Adams and longtime companion, Bob Patterson.
Survivors include her daughter, Melody Nixon of Pasadena; sister, Rita June Ogden of Houston; grandchildren, Ashlee Larson Burns and her husband RP3 Justin Burns USN of Midway Park, North Carolina and Lee Aaron Larson of Pasadena and a great-grandson, Jayden Lee Burns of Midway Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Hoxworth and Rev. Scott Hoxworth officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Hoxworth, Stan McGlothlin, Wayne Wade, Josh Goodgame, David Potter and Justin Burns.
