Linda Beam

She received the Holy Ghost at age 14 and faithfully served the Lord ever since. She was loved by many and was dedicated to serving the Lord. She excelled as a mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend.

Linda was known for her powerful voice and anointing in song. Her smile and laugh were contagious.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Pierce and father Charles Pierce, and grandmother Effie Ruth Young.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, J.C. Beam, a daughter, Alicia Renee Locke and husband David, a son, Joseph Darren Beam, three grandchildren, Justin Daniel Mariah Grace and Celina Rose Locke, four sisters, Delores Porter, Mary Hale, Charlene Crane and husband Dwight, and Becky Crane and husband Coleman, and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August, 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Peace Tabernacle, 5901 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.

Interment will follow immediate at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.
