Linda M Clark, born January 31st, 1949 Linda Lou Miller, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Old River - Winfree, Texas on June 20th, 2026 surrounded by her loving children at the age of 77 years old. Born in Chicago Illinois, the second child of four to Robert and Helen Miller, was raised a devoted Catholic who attended Catholic school all of her educational years. She passed as a strong Republican, who had faith in the future of America.
She was a wonderful Mom to two children, Katherine and Thomas. They were her world and she was the same to them.
She carried several positions, but working at the Newspaper in Chicago was something she talked of often. Once she relocated to Texas she then remarried. She found her career as a legal secretary where she took great pride in her work. She made friendships that were treasured and that she considered family. After her late husband passed in 2014 she retired not long after, and made sure to live her life to the fullest. She took no day for granted and traveled to countries and places most people can only dream of. Many times with strangers that then became great friends. Her favorite was South Africa on Safari seeing all the animals in their natural environment. Fearless, resilient, determined she was.
Although she would have loved to stay on earth with her children, she knew they were in good hands. She was very proud of the life partners they chose to carry on their life with. She was not scared about her journey home, but looking forward to being reunited with her late sister/best friend Mary Ann, her Mom, and husband. She is preceded in death by her parents Helen Stephanie Kamys and Robert Daniel Miller, her sister Mary Ann (Miller) Lehman, and husband John Duane Clark.
