OBITUARY

Lisa Leigh Meunier

October 4, 1956September 3, 2020

Lisa Leigh Meunier, 63, of Mont Belvieu, TX, passed away September 3, 2020. She was born to the late Roland Rebstock and Lois Rebstock on October 4, 1956.

Lisa Leigh was the wife to Mark Meunier for the last 44 years and has been the light of each other’s life for 49 years. She was the mother to Angela Johnson, Scott Meunier, Jennifer Gates, and Nicole Welschhans. The mother-in-law to Brooke Meunier, Jody Gates, and Mark Welschhans. The proudest and most loving grandmother to Michael, Morgan, Tyler, Kason, Olivia, Brendan, and William. She was the sister to Roland (Buddy) Rebstock, Matthew Rebstock, Greg Rebstock, and Allison Cheramie. She was the aunt/nanny to many nieces and nephews. She was a mother, grandmother, sister and/or friend to anyone who came across her path, it just depended on what type of love and affection that person needed, in the moment. She had the biggest heart and was the greatest caretaker to anyone who was in need. Although she was known to be great, loved for her big heart, and love of her family, she had one more love that no one could take from her…..THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS.

Mark , Angela., Scott, Jennifer and Nicole,
I am so very sorry to learn of Lisa’s untimely death. Even though life got in the way for both of us and we lost touch I was and have always been her Nanny Rose. I spent many times with her as her first babysitter and godmother. She was the most beautiful baby
girl and she could cry louder then any other baby I knew, no surprise there. She let the world know she was part of it even back then. When she moved to Texas she would call me and we chatted for long periods of time. She regaled me with some of the wildest stories and I loved them all. Through the years thoughts of her made me smile. Rest In Peace Lisa you will always be in my heart.

Mr. Mark, Angela, Scott, Jennifer and Nicole, Even though it’s been years since you guys moved away and we haven’t seen one another since. I am thankful for our childhood of nights out at the ball park, all the party’s from one of our Birthdays to holiday get togethers to game day either at you guys house or at our house. I still can hear Mrs. Lisa screaming at the tv for a bad call and when the SAINTS would complete a play, to a field goal all the way to a touchdown. I remember we used to tell her that every neighbor within our parish could hear her!!!!
I will forever cherish every single memory our family’s shared.
Each and everyone of you guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
Rest In Peace Mrs. Lisa we will see one another again.
