

Lois (Dailey) Hamilton of Lakeway, TX went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was born September 10, 1922 in Ranger Texas and raised in Groveton and Houston, Texas. Lois made her home in Baytown for 60 years then made the move to the Austin area. She was the daughter of the late Jess and Ethel (Anderson) Dailey. She was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and received her Associates of Art degree from Lee College. Lois was employed at Humble Oil until she resigned to raise her boys and start her own business designing and creating hand painted cachets. Lois truly loved the Cachet business owning and designing but mostly the interaction with her customers. She retired from Ham Cachets in 2009 after 40 years.
Throughout her life Lois was a devout Episcopalian and was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baytown, Texas. Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Julian Price Hamilton and her son Jerry Glenn Hamilton. She was a wonderful mother and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Scott Hamilton (wife Gayle) of Lakeway, TX, Ronald Hamilton (wife Pat) of Baytown, TX and her grandchildren Ty and Trent Hamilton, Daniel Hamilton, Bryan Hamilton and Michelle Bailey. She also leaves behind many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday November 19th at 10am until noon.
