Lorie Lee Trenery, 63, of Baytown, Texas, passed away, on Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 20, 1962, in Houston, Texas, to Shirley Parker Hyltin and the late Leroy Hyltin, Jr.
Lorie graduated from Ross S. Sterling in Baytown, class of 1981, and went on to attend Lee College. She worked at The Summit, which she loved, and later ExxonMobil for over 30 years.
Lorie pursued many hobbies, some of which included going to the beach and spending time with her fur babies. She was a true animal lover especially when it came to cats and dogs. Lorie had a fond love for flowers, and she always kept them fresh in her home. She was an outgoing and social person who never met a stranger wherever she went. Lorie also enjoyed the simple things in life like visiting friends. She found her greatest joy came from spending time with her precious family. Lorie treasured the afternoons spent with her mom. Her vivacious personality naturally lit up any room with her presence.
Lorie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Sybil and Melvin Parker; her paternal grandparents Thelma and Leroy Hyltin, Sr.; her father Leroy Hyltin, Jr.; and her brother Brent Hyltin. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her mother Shirley Parker Hyltin; her beloved husband Steven Trenery; her son Michael Bryan and wife Alicia; her grandchildren Alexa and Chase Bryan; her brother Carl Hyltin and wife Barbara; her nephews Jonathan and wife Anna and Daniel Hyltin; her many aunts and uncles; her numerous cousins; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Cashat, Chase Bryan, Caymon Hamel, Jonathan Hyltin, Daniel Hyltin, and Royce Moyer.
