Luis Felipe Mijangos, of Baytown, passed away on July 31, 2014 at the age of 73. Luis was born on June 8, 1941 in Guatemala City, Guatemala and he moved to Baytown in 1970. Luis was a hardworking man, he worked in the steel industry as a laborer for many years. Luis was loved by all who knew him and he never met a stranger. Above all else Luis loved his grandchildren, they could do no wrong in his eyes and there was nothing that he wouldn't do for them.
Luis leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Hilda Mijangos; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth Hockless and Marilynn and Kevin Collins; cherished grandchildren, Kaleb, Joshua, Zachary, Naomi, Ty and Ryan and his family in Guatemala.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown.
