Lynda F. Henderson

Lynda F. Henderson, 73, of Baytown was born April 30, 1943, in Minden, LA and passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, in a local hospital. She retired from Wooster Baptist Church with 25 years of service and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Highlands. She was an avid reader but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard ""Bill"" and Merrel Slack and sister, Janet Mandel. She is survived by her husband, Joseph S. Henderson of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph S. III and Letisha Henderson of Kingsland; daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Jack Frost of Yukon, OK, Julie and Steve Williams of Highlands, and Joy and Lee Floyd of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Frank Hilligoss of Lavergne, TN; and fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, July 6, 2016, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Beau Rosser officiating.
