

Malcolm W. ""Chip"" Holidy, 51, of Houston, was born May 14, 1962 in Baytown and passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in a Houston hospital. He was graduate of Bellaire High School in Houston and served in the Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Holidy and Lavona Smith; brother, Stephen Holidy; grandparents, Norma Smith and Wheeler Smith; and uncle, Tracy Smith. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Allison and Charles ""Gary"" Coward of Nacogdoches and dear friend, Jay Luecke of Houston.
His family will receive friends Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Alexander Chapel at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, 2714 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles ""Gary"" Coward, Jay Luecke, Jimmy Epperson, Tommy Clayton, William ""Bill"" Kelley, Charles Hodges, Scott Shapley, Jeff Whitehouse, and Conrad ""Connie"" McGouirke. Timothy ""Tim"" Altman will be an honorary pallbearer.
