Margie worked hard for her career in the printing department for San Jacinto College and retired from there in 2004. She enjoyed many activities in life including baking of sweets, quilting and sewing, as well as a deep love of Genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father as well as her late husband Weber J. Greer, and by her daughter Rebecca Wachsmann.
She is survived by her son Donald Wayne Kirkland and daughter-in-law Virginia Carol Kirkland; by grandchildren, Amanda Knell Brashears, Joseph Knell, and Kenneth Kirkland, and great-grandchild, Tyler Kirkland.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521, with the funeral service to follow and begin at 12 pm. She will be laid to rest at Center Point Cemetery in Center Point, Texas .
