Maria Teresa Zarate, 60, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2022. She was born in Tampico Mexico on September 9, 1961 to Roberto and Eleuteria. She was married to Luis Sergio for 38 years and had a passion for baking all types of cakes.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, brother, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Luis Sergio; sisters Carmen and Guillermina; her sons Roberto and Jorge; daughter Mary Cruz; her grandkids, Allyson, Roberto Jr. Zoe, Manuel and Maureen.
A funeral service for Maria will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1124 Beech St, Baytown, Texas 77520. Following the funeral service will be a burial from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
