Maricruz had resided in Baytown for the last 30 years and had worked as a migrant recruiter for Goose Creek ISD and Galena Park ISD.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Romero of Baytown; children, Maribel Romero and her husband Adam Arellano of Baytown, Jesus Angel Romero of Baytown and Sonia Romero and her husband Heron Medina of Houston and grandchildren, Ivan Julian Arellano, Sean Alexander Romero and Iris Alexis Arellano.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Margarita Bermudez officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
