Mark Dykes Andrews, an avid hunter and fisherman and a teller of tall tales, passed away of an aneurism Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the age of 56. Mark was born August 27, 1955 in New Orleans, La., and was a Baytown resident since his family moved here when he was three.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora 'Shirley' Andrews. He is survived by his father, Dr. John Andrews; by brothers John Andrews Jr. and his wife Rose, Quentin Andrews and his wife Maureen, and Scott Andrews; by sisters Carolyn Urban and her husband Michael and Ginger Gelke and her husband Rick; and by eight nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. This will be followed by a memorial service at 2:00 P.M.
