Marsha "Di" Jones

Marsha Dian “Di” Jones, 82, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born in Goose Creek, Texas, on May 7, 1943, to the late Iva B. and Donece Anderson. Di proudly graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, class of 1961. Shortly after, in 1963, she married the love of her life, a young man named Billy Jones. They spent the next 62 years together building a beautiful life, until his passing last October. They were faithful members of Second Baptist Baytown.

Di pursued many interests, some of which included her love for animals, and traveling. She also enjoyed playing Bunko with her friends. Di looked forward to her monthly dinners with the REL Alumni ladies. She found pleasure in the simple things in life like just staying home watching tv.

DI was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband Billy. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her children Donya Jones and Douglas Jones; her numerous nieces and nephews; her many cousins; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on March 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, located at 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX, 77521.The funeral service will follow on the same day, March 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same venue. The committal will take place on March 3, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at Cedarcrest Cemetery and Monuments, located at 3010 Ferry Rd, Baytown, TX, 77520.
