It was truly a blessing being by Dee’s side during her last moments as she passed. She has such a loving family. Gloria and Sandy, you two were absolutely wonderful and I loved the music that you played for her, it was truly a beautiful and magical moment. I’m so sorry for your loss and wish you all the best. Much love.

Gloria, Paul, Justin, Ashley, Travis and Family,
You have my heartfelt sympathy. Your Mom (Grandmother) was a beautiful, soft spoken woman. I so enjoyed visiting with her at her hygiene appointments. I popped in on her while my husband’s aunt was at St. James and we got to chat some. She was as lovely as ever. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Janine

I had the great privilege to work with Martha since 2007. She was a constant source of cheer, caring and encouragement. She was the definition of a "lady" and "servant".

Martha, I always knew you had wings; however, early Monday morning a bell rung in heaven and you received your "official" wings.

Love,
Anita

Always enjoyed our time visiting with Martha Dee. Even though she was my dad's cousin, I felt more like she was my mom, since I lost mine in 1996. I have a feeling there are many others out there that have had this same experience, as she was such a warm and caring person. She stepped into that role so easily. When Doug's mother passed away in 2013, she came to her service and he never forgot that. He was instantly smitten by her compassion! What an example for the rest of us to follow! Our sincerest condolences to Gloria, Sandy, their spouses, the grandchildren, and the great-grandbabies. She was so proud of all of you. I'm sure you will all continue to make her and Leroy proud. In a couple of weeks, when things get quiet, we are here to be your sounding board. Please call on us anytime and my God Bless each and every one of you.

My wife Jackie and I loved to play 42 with Leroy and Martha. Jackie and Martha were the best of friends from grade school on up. Before Jackie passed away from Alzheimer's, Martha sent her cards frequently and although Jackie didn't remember many people, when I would read the card to her, her face would light up and she would exclaim, "Martha Dee!". Martha was such a sweet and thoughtful person, the very definition of a true lady. It was my honor to have known her.

Granny will be missed by many. She was a kind soul and always made you feel as though you were part of the family. Her smile and laugh were contagious to everyone around. We are praying for the entire family during this difficult time. Love y’all!
