Martha Sue Marshall

Martha Sue Marshall, 74, of Baytown was born July 11, 1938 in Lufkin, TX and passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Baytown. She retired from the Goose Creek School District, having taught at Carver Elementary, Highlands Elementary, and McNair Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tallie and Virginia Cotten. She is survived by her son, Scott Jordan of Austin; daughter, Rene' Ray of Spring; sister, Jayne Cotten of Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren and their spouses, Brandy and Patrick Gerhardt of Atasocita, Jacob Ray and Laikin Vincent and Joshua Ray, all of Spring, Tommy Jordan and Justin Jordan, both of Clear Lake; and great grandchildren, Cason, Trinity, and Kaylee Gerhardt and Bryson Vincent.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gann Cemetery in Central, TX in Angelina County.

Her family would like to say a special ""thank you"" to her caregiver Carolyn McCain for the kindness and loving care that she showed their mom.
