Mary graduated from Cedar Bayou High School and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. She worked for SW Bell and taught school in Pasadena, TX. She enjoyed horses and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Blake; her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Esther Bayliss; and sister, Georgia Russell.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Pauline Leavins, Helen Strack and husband Morris.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00am with a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
