I remember Mrs. Breaux from the years I worked for Dr. George Walmsley. She would come into the office, and she was the sweetest, kindest lady. Here it is 30 years later & I can remember her like it was yesterday. Her sweet spirit makes me smile. I’m very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Theresa McRee

Ernestine Breaux was the most Godliest woman I have ever known. Nobody is perfect but this woman was pretty dedgum close to perfection. What an amazing example of a proverbs 31 woman and a Christian lady she was. I have never known anyone more graceful than her. Words can never express what this woman has meant to me over the last 18 years. She has been another mother to me and I will never forget how she called me daily after my Mom passed away to check on me and pray for me ... or any of our talks or how she prayed for me or loved me. In addition to having had traveled and sang with The Gospel Messengers for a few years, I have spent countless hours playing cards and dominoes with both she and Ernie and made a lot of amazing, funny memories! My heart has hurt me so much since I heard the news of your passing. But I rejoice that you are no longer suffering or hurting anymore. I know if I said “I’ll see ya later” to her right now she would say “Alright Shug!” (short for sugar) or “okay hun!” I will miss you terribly, Ernestine Breaux, but I will see you again soon, Shug! -Kristy Clifton Madrid

What a precious person Ernestine was! Many wonderful memories as she taught me how to paint, how to cook, and just shared her unwavering faith in her Sweet Jesus! Her smile was ever present and she loved her family in a way that everyone could tell! Although she will be missed, I know she is rejoicing in heaven and enjoying the ultimate healing and peace with the Lord! Our prayers are with the family...Ernie and the children and grandchildren. What a wonderful legacy she leaves behind! Sending our love and prayers

My life and Ernestine’s life Inter-twined over a period of many years. I believe, by the way she lived her life, that on August 27, 2019, she was greeted by her Lord and Savior with these words. “Well done my good and faithful servant, Welcome Home!”
May God continue to richly bless and comfort all those who loved and will truly miss her .
We hold you in our prayers.
