Mary Coker

A devoted wife, mother, sister, companion and Christian. Who was more than any of these words can describe. She was the best friend to any and all who knew her. She was fun, intelligent and would help in any situation. The lord blessed us with her for a short time and then we had to give her back. She was truly Papa's better half and will be greatly missed by all.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Shannon.

She is survived by her husband, Sherman Coker; children, Jamie Denton and husband, Steven, Amanda Smith and husband, Wre, John Brinkley and Roy Coker and wife Melissa; brother James Shannon and wife, Kit and sister, Nancy Young; grandchildren, Rachel Denton, Clint Kelley, Amanda Denton, Brady Kelley, Koby Kelley, Sierra Coker, Damien Smith, Elida Coker, Jordan Hinojosa and Joseph Coker.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 27, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Wooster Baptist Church 7007 Bayway Dr. Baytown, Texas 77520 where she was a longtime member.
