Mary Griffin

She was born April 29, 1953, in Lufkin, to Benjamin John Weber II and Mildred Boles Weber. She had been a long time resident of Diboll, TX. She spent much of life caring for others and being a devoted mother and grandmother and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Mary is survived by her husband, George Griffin of Baytown and mother-in-law Marie Ward of Bowling Green, KY. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and David Skelton of Alvin, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Carey and Russ Reeder of Lufkin, daughter Regina Havard of Lufkin and daughter Charla Redd of Alvin, (daughters by heart) Tasha Knape of Lufkin, Amy Kananen of Rancho Cuckmonga, CA. and Tracy Tomon of Baytown. Also six grandchildren, Clarissa Skelton, Brenden Havard, Paige Skelton, Rylan Mosley, Gavin Havard, and Kelsi Redd. As well as her father and stepmother, Ben and Joy Weber of Pollok, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and James Parish of Huntington, TX; sister Betsy Dean of Lake Dallas, TX and special long-time family friend, John Sherrard of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law Benjie and Shasta Weber of Houston; brother Alex Weber of Pollok and sister-in-law and husband, Susan and Gary Stallard of Lufkin. Six nieces and nephews; and many adored extended family members and friends. Best friends include Mattie Ward and Ruben Castillo.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Weber Carradine, grandparents Charles ""Dee"" and Mary Weber and Earl and Birdie Boles and an uncle, Clyde Boles.

Family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. Services will then be held at Navarre Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 am with a chapel and graveside service at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin at 3:00 pm.

Officiating will be Brother John Raines of Alvin Missionary Baptist Church and Chris Emerson of Eastside Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary's honor to Hospice Care Team, 107 W. Way St. #29, Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
