Mary Louise Ponder

She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1948. Ms. Ponder graduated with her RN degree from Scott and White in Temple, Texas in 1953. She received her B.S. from Baylor University in 1955. Having worked many years in the medical field some of her favorite places was the Industrial Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was of Baptist faith and a longtime member of TOPS where she received many awards. Ms. Ponder loved nature, the brilliant spring colors and especially all kinds of birds. With her porcelain complexion, crystal blue eyes, and soft spoken manor she could warm hearts and put a smile on anyone's face.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur H. Ponder and Beatrice Anne Tucker Ponder

She is survived by her beloved caregivers, Leona Winter, Jackie Trancoso and lifelong family friend Tammy Fayle.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown, TX. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in the Mausoleum at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2 p.m. with entombment to follow.
