She loved to sew, and was known for her quick wit. She was active in her church to include working with the Youth Choir.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward Tate.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Smith and Husband Sonny, two grandsons, Tim Lively, and Chris Lively, three great-grandchildren, Marcus, Alex and Dylan Lively, a brother, Wesley Yeager, as well as nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on January, 19, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Wooster Baptist Church, 7007 Bayway Dr, Baytown, TX 77520.
Funeral Services will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. at Wooster Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
