

Pat was born on April 25, 1920 in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, the daughter of Carl Andrew and Frankie Catherine Wilson Russell.
She was the third child of seven children consisting of four sisters and two brothers. She worked for Humble Oil and attended Lee Junior College. She graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in elementary education. Pat taught first grade in Clear Lake and Hitchcock schools until she retired. Pat was a member of many Christian organizations while even traveling for Christian ministries to Russia and Israel while later becoming an active member of Baptist Temple Church in Baytown, Texas where she could always be seen on the right side in the second seat so that she could be certain that she could see and hear the entire sermon. Pat always had a big smile for everyone and everyone loved her. She was a recognized published Poet and always wrote beautiful poems as regard to her children, grandchildren and her loved one, leaving cherished keepsakes for her family members. Pat was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and her kind and loving spirit will never be forgotten.
Pat married Charlie Columbus Seeley on January 11, 1949 in Baytown, Texas, whom later died on January 3, 1957, and later married Carroll Pearson, Sr. on July 25, 1959, in Baytown, Texas, who died on May 21, 1996.
Pat is also preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Frankie Wilson Russell, her brothers, Wilson Russell and John Robin Russell, her sisters, Elon Russell Reichenau and Carla Russell Jones, her brothers-in-law, Elgin Reichenau, Wayne West, Robert Wilson and Thomas Jones, sisters-in-law, Ernestine Poole Russell, and grandson, David Duane Nelson.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Ann Seeley of Vestavia Hills, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law Carla and Larry Tiner of Baytown; four grandchildren and their spouses, Stephen Seeley of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Carla Renee and Phil Addison of Baytown; Lori and Chris Gaughan of Houston; Tien and John Nelson of Houston; two great-grandchildren, Skylar Seeley of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Janci Addison of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Frankie and Otis Davis of Brenham; sister, Maurice Wilson of Houston; sister-in-law, Mildred East of Caldwall, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Special thanks are given to the Swan Manor staff and Dorothy Maxey whom gave her very special care during her last days and sincerest gratitude to Debbie Franco who was her devoted homecare giver and friend for the past five years providing an abundance of companionship and love.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A graveside service will be help at Memory Gardens on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ken Goodell officiating.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Steven Seeley, Phil Addison, John Nelson, and Chris Gaughan. Honorary pallbearers are nephews Willie Pfeiffer, Norman Ponder, Russell Page, Gregory West, John Russell, Carl Russell, Bill Turpin and Aaron Hambrick.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family would ask that friends and family donate to a charity of your choice.
