

Maxine Culpepper, 77, of Dayton was born January 25, 1940, in West Lake, LA and passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, in a Houston healthcare facility. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Her passion was painting pictures using pastels and other mediums and she loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Overton and Philomene Duhon. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Michelle Culpepper of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Lou Anna and Ellis Collier of Dayton; grandchildren, Eric and Brittney Culpepper and Courtney Culpepper; and nieces and nephew, Yvonne Manuel and Connie Windham and Kenneth Collier.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3515 Trinity Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77523, on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Khanh Ho officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Collier, Eric Culpepper, Christian Ibarra and Mark Reid.
