Merle worked with me for most of my 11 years in Houston and she was one of the most creative and energetic people that I have ever known. It was a real pleasure to have known her and she will be missed by the lives that she touched during her YMCA career. To her family my sincere condolences and may she rest in peace. Bill Hendley
