Michele Aguero Gomez

Michele Aguero Gomez, 51, of Baytown, Texas, passed away July 6th, 2022. She was born in Shirley, Massachusetts on July 20th, 1970 to Crecencio Aguero, Jr. and Susanne Meye Aguero. She was happily married to her husband Timothy Gomez for 18 years.

Michele attended school at Ross S. Sterling high school in Baytown, Texas and later went on to complete her GED. She had a successful career in restaurant management for Kettle, Taco Cabana, Golden Corral and Chili’s. Whether she was at school or work, Michele had a gift at making friends that have lasted a lifetime. She spent the last 5 years focused on spending time with her husband, daughters and beautiful granddaughters. Michele had a passion for the Astros, true crime documentaries, her dachshund Lily, crocheting, having dinners and cook outs with her family, and spoiling her granddaughters with love, time and snacks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Crecencio and Susanne Aguero of Highlands, Tx. And her sister, Susett Lacour of Highlands, Tx.

She is survived by her husband Timothy Gomez; daughters Brittany Gomez, Rachel and husband Steven Retzloff, Jessica and husband Brandon Freeman; grandchildren Leah Retzloff, Fallon Freeman, River Freeman, and her first grandson on the way, Emmett Lopez; brother Steve and wife Marianne Aguero; niece Sabrina and husband Donnie Webster; nephews Jeremy and wife Christina Aguero, Chris Aguero and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Michele will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521, followed by a celebration of life service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
