

Milroy ""Mickey"" Ganske, 78, of Baytown was born August 29, 1932 in Burton, TX and passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in a local hospital. He retired from Sterling Chemicals and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church since 1956. He was a U. S. Army veteran and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lizzie Ganske. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Ganske of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Sharon Ganske of Navasota, Glenn and Terry Ganske of Katy, Jeffery and Debbie Ganske of Pearland, and Ronnie and Betsy Ganske of San Antonio; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Marvin Marburger and brother and sister-in-law, James and Shirley Ganske, all of Brenham; aunt, Margaret Streich of Baytown; sister-in-law, Helen Kethan of San Antonio; and grandchildren, Brandon Ganske, Chad Weise, Chase, Sarah, Phillip, Rosie, Ross, Evan, and Nelson Ganske.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 712 Schilling Ave., Baytown, TX 77520 with Rev. Bonnie Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon, Chase, Phillip, and Sarah Ganske, Chad Weise, Hoya Ash, Clinton and Mason Marburger
